Ode to Summer

I loved being able to do Anna's senior photos. She exudes a courageous and authentic kindness that is so encouraging to my spirit and to all those around her.

I got to ask her what her favorite high school memory was and what she was looking forward to in the future....

...and celebrate these glory days. No better to time to band togther.. whatever our differences. Being grateful for what our American flag represents does not only belong to July. Let freedom always be the footing for love.

I think this quote from this shoot's goegeus model, Brooke is spot on,

"Freedom to me is knowing that the only person that can hold me back from my goals is me."

And my other gorgeous model, Nara, would like it known that "if countries were like Games of Thrones houses's, I'd be house America. All day."

Jake + Layne

It has always been my joy to capture love.

Overcoming the hustle and bustle of a hot summer wedding can be challenging, but with a couple like Jake and Layne, it is no problem seeing true love shine through on camera.

I am thankful for all the guidance and opputunities that other photographers have given me. I'd be nowhere without the talents of Sarah Deshaw, Amy Dey and Chris Moncus. Thank you also to SSCC and the help of Mike Richardson.

Few things beat the delight of a wedding day and I hope I am able to perserve the memories of many more to come!
